For the general welfare, safety and enjoyment of all our guests and employees, La Puerta El Paraizo is implementing the following:

1. BEACH RESORT POLICY
 

• Bringing foods and drinks are NOT permitted inside the resort.

• Strictly NO cooking and lighting of fires anywhere inside or within the resort parameters.

• NO SMOKING permitted inside the cottages and restaurant.

• Privacy is our trademark. Keep noise to a minimum where music is only played quietly within your cottage.

• NO music is to be played while on the beach or inside the cottage WITHOUT prior approval or permission from the management. REMEMBER that your music may be another’s noise pollution!

• Freshwater in Guimaras is scarce so please conserve water.

• Supply of electricity is high and by turning off air conditioners when leaving the cottage for a longer period of time is highly advisable.

• Guests needing housekeeping at a specific time should discuss with the reception first hour in the morning or the night prior. 

• No outside and unregistered visitors or guests are allowed inside the resort. Guests wishing to have visitors must get clearance or permission following instructions from the Management.  Visitor numbers are strictly restricted.

• Strictly NO entry on areas with PRIVATE or KEEP OUT signs. These signs are posted in areas such as staff houses and workshops.

• All minors should be supervised at all times by adult companions.

• Observe the proper garbage disposal. Preservation of nature’s beauty and environment is seriously implemented in this resort.

• Internet availability fluctuates on occasions and while the site may show probable availability of some rooms, it is still not a guarantee that a specific room at a certain time of the booking is available. It pays to check the Reception Desk at +63 9275079204 (Globe) or +63 09379403384 (Smart).

• Force Majeure 
  We will not be in breach of the agreement or any way liable to any party, if it is prevented from complying with this agreement by reason of act of God, act of public enemy, act of terrorism, war, earthquake, riot, explosion, compliance and with any law or government restraint order, rule regulations, strikes, lockouts or any other cause not reasonably within the control of La Puerta El Paraizo Beach Resort. We will not be liable for any loss of any kind whatsoever.

• Travel Insurance
  We strongly recommend Travel Insurance for all of those unexpected events leading to last-minute cancellation
   

2. SPECIAL CONDITIONS:
 

• Use of Drone.

  • Drone flying and recording, either commercial or personal, is strictly prohibited around the resort environment.

  • When a special, big and important milestone events are to be celebrated in the resort, drone flying may be permitted on a case by case basis, subject to written application send to (lapuertaresort@gmail.com)

  • Should the management approve the used of drone flying and recording, the resort will have the right to request for copies free of copyright requirements.

  • Anyone found flying the drone within, on or above the resort property without prior authorization will be asked to pay a fine.

 

• Use of Video Camera Recording

  • Similar provisions as above apply.

 

• Photographic Shootin

  • Similar provisions as above apply.

3. ROOM BOOKINGS:

When you make a booking with us the following terms and conditions apply:

• Bookings, Rates and Quotes

  • The best option to reserve your rooms is via the 'Book Now' option, you can also send us a message via the contact us page.

  • All the Rates displayed are current/standard and VAT inclusive, however, this may be subject to change without notification.  Any verbal quote given may only be an estimate of the actual price (subject to package inclusions) and therefore all reservation prices will be subject to confirmation. All rates are quoted in Philippine peso  (PHP).
     

• Booking Fee 

  • Once the online credit card payment is available, the booking fee will be added automatically to the total approved payment.

• Booking Confirmation

  • ​The BOOK NOW button allows the guest to reserve their preferred rooms and dates online. On successful submission, guests shall receive a booking reservation via email. 

  • Guests are advised to review the booking reservation information sent to their email, for any changes contact the Reception team via the contact us page. If for some unavoidable reasons you need to cancel your reservation, please use the CANCELLATIONS button in the accommodation > Rooms and Rates Page.

• Booking PAYMENTS

  • Room Reservations:

    • Guests will pay to BPI Iloilo Account No. 1079-2513-44 within 24 hours. Send a copy of the confirmed bank deposit to our email address at lapuertaresort@gmail.com. A file copy can be also sent alternatively by phone to 09275079204. The final confirmation of the reservation is then acknowledged by e-mail once this deposit has been verified and cleared. 

    • Guests to pay the remaining balance in cash on the day of check-in. 
       

  • Events and Conference

    • The organizer will pay a 50% deposit to BPI Account No. 1079-2513-44 within 24 hours. Send a copy of the confirmed bank deposit to our email address at lapuertaresort@gmail.com. A file copy can be also sent alternatively by phone to 099275079204. A confirmation of the reservation is then acknowledged by e-mail once this deposit has been verified and cleared. 

    • The organizer to pay the remaining balance in cash one week prior to the event. 
       

• Use of the website and bookings

  • ​La Puerta El Paraizo website can only be used by a person 18 years old and over. This legal age can form a legally binding contract that is enforceable by the law. 

  • The person of legal age, making a booking shall be deemed to have accepted the booking conditions on behalf of all persons traveling.

  • Guests agree to provide accurate and complete information when booking accommodation. Your information will be stored and use for our private and confidential reference ONLY. Information will not be shared with any external parties unless specifically required by the law authorities.

  • La Puerta El Paraizo reserves the right to decline bookings, to provide, cease or suspend with any or all the services we offer at any time without entering further discussions to the guests.
     

• Age Requirements and Child Policy

  • All clients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian, the Management has the right to refuse any booking when the legal guardian cannot provide current photo I.D. when requested at check-in.

  • Children 0-2 years are free of charge if using the existing bedding in each room.  Charges apply for additional bedding.

 

•  Check-in/Check Out

  • Our check-in time is 2:00 pm and check-out time is 10:00 am.​ 

  • Late check-out may be allowed. Appropriate charges for late check-outs apply.

4. CANCELLATIONS

​

La Puerta El Paraizo adheres to the following policy for the protection of both the guests and the establishment. 

​

• Guests may choose to cancel, amend or revise the approved reservation by clicking ‘Cancel’ on the appropriate reservation button.

• The ‘Cancel’ button will then be directed to the Reception Department who will be in immediate contact with the guest to edit the approved reservation to the new arrangements appropriately without delay.

• The Reception Department using our own Dashboard will cancel, amend and/or revise the existing approved reservation to whatever new arrangements agreed with the guests.

• New costs will then initially be confirmed verbally if possible, then followed with an email or text to the concerned guest/s within requested 12 hours prior to listing’s 2:00 pm local check-in time on the day of check-in.

Short Term Bookings​

• This policy applies to all reservations of 6 days or less.

• A full refund of accommodation fees when canceled within 24 hours of confirmed booking

• 50% refund of accommodation fees when canceled made 2 full days prior to listing’s 2:00 pm local check-in time on the day of check in, otherwise no refund.

• Should the guest/s cancel less than 2 days in advance or decides to leave early after check-in, the nights not spent are not refundable.

Long Term: 

• This policy applies to all reservations of 7 days or more.

• If the guest decided to cancel reservation before the start of confirmed listing’s 2:00 pm local check in time on the day of check-in, the first 4 days of the reservation is not refunded.

• If the guest decides to cancel the reservation during their stay, the guest must use the 'Cancel' button directed promptly to the reception desk. Guests should then discuss this immediately to the Reception desk to agree to a new checkout date.

• Regardless of the checkout date selected, the guest is required to pay for the 2 whole days following the cancellation date,
  or up to the end date of the original approved booking, if the remaining portion of the original booking is less than 12 days.
